The Fate Makers' chosen author. Granted his crown at a young age, his body was warped into this appearance via the strange properties of the Nth Dimension. He is a childish and at times irresponsible king, prioritizing his own happiness over duty.
Childish, irreverant, irresponsible...Caido is the embodiment of someone who's plugged their ears against life. While he is able to complete necessary tasks in a timely manner, he's less eager to do so if it doesn't interest him. Despite his dreams of conquest and power, he can be easily distracted, prefering to goof off or play if the opportunity arises. His formerly vengeful and cruel personality has mellowed out significantly with time, now properly embodying that cute and pudgy persona that he presents...most of the time. He is friendly and cheery by default, but he is easily discouraged and depressed, and can have trouble pulling himself out of depressive spirals on his own. As such, he avoids anything that might cause him pain or misery like the plague, including confronting any negative emotions or problems in his way.
Caido is the second author chosen by the Fate Makers, inheriting the empty space known as the Nth Dimension from the previous author. Through internal and external stressors, Caido's humanity slowly withered away in that strange space until his body—barely even human at this point—was dismembered by 85 in a confrontation between the two. Stubbornly refusing to die, the torso of that warped human body turned into Caido as he appears now. Being a transformed torso, Caido's body still contains many of the organs one might expect to find in a normal human torso. However, most of them have decayed by now, with his 'heart' not being human at all. Lacking a brain, this symbolic heart is what propels Caido forward, giving him an impulsive nature and causing him to be susceptible to his own emotions, good or bad. His original human heart was one of the first things to decay under the stress of shepherding a new universe, turning into a black sludge that became the Others once it seeped out of his chest.

The "War Hammer"
Also known as the Ban Hammer by Caido, it is a large hammer/mallet formed from the dark blood that flows through Caido's veins. Caido took inspiration from 64's method of summoning weapons to create this hammer. As long as the hammer stays intact, it doesn't count as lost blood. Being imbued with Caido's own powers, it's just as strong as he is.
85 is Caido's eldest son. While their relationship has never been overly affectionate or familiar as Caido's relationship with 64 has become, 85 was Caido's 'favored' Other for his neutrality and levelheadedness prior to Caido changing his perception of the Others from being more than just tools for a purpose and viewing them more as his sons. After this 85 continued to be the prefered son, simply due to the nature of the prior interactions Caido had between him and 64. In the present their relationship has become strained, with Caido doing his best to make up for the cruel treatment and neglect 85 suffered due to Caido's own careless actions.
The middle child, but the one who appeared first. As a destructive force, 64 antagonized Caido out of feelings of neglect, eventually seeking to usurp him due to 64's fears of being destroyed for his misbehavior. Once 64 was freed from the effects of his crown, he and Caido were able to reconcile with each other and have become incredibly close in the present day, acting more like friends rather than father and son. This isn't to say Caido doesn't act fatherly with 64. Due to their closeness, 64 can depend on Caido as a doting father figure when he needs to, and Caido can depend on 64 as the protector he was created to be. 64 has become even more protective of Caido in the present era, having tried his best to stop the progress of Caido's rot, and sheltering him from 85's growing hostility when possible.
One of the two Fate Makers who made Caido their author. His exact position is difficult to pin down for Caido, as he'll go from friendly playmate and enabler to an uncaring and indifferent god in the blink of an eye when it suits him. Blinded by End's own interest in his creations, Caido at times forgets the truth of their relationship: A human and an otherworldly deity who ensnared him for their own amusement. End can be guilelessly cruel with Caido, tormenting Caido when he sees fit for whatever reason: from misbehavior to simply being in a bad mood. End's cruelty has become more direct after Caido abandoned his duties, with the two getting into arguments frequently. While they've never come to blows, End doesn't need to, as he has the ability to afflict Caido with any form of bad luck, prefering to let fate take its course.
Caido's own rotten head. After Caido was decapitated by 85, his old head stayed in stasis somewhere in the white void of the Nth Dimension until the progression of Caido's rot turned it into this. Due to Somn Machine's nature, he tormented Caido in the beginning, but has similarly mellowed out with time. Somn has become something of a family pet, as he isn't much for conversation, and would prefer to simply sit and observe those around him. Somn too has come to be protective of Caido, doing his best to keep Caido out of trouble either through wordless suggestions against dangerous actions or quite literally carrying him out of it.
Anatomy & Physiology
Caido stands at a rather short 2'3" / 70cm. While he is able to manipulate his appearance at no physical expense to himself, this is his natural height and appearance. The black substance that makes up his body seems to be a stable mixture of ink, old blood, and flesh. Despite this, he doesn't smell like decay, and instead has a slight plant-esque and pen ink smell due to the large sprout coming out of his head and the composition of his body.
Caido's current existence is as a chimera. His form seems to be an abstract mixture of a beetle, a dragon, a television, and a mandrake, yet doesn't quite resemble any of its parts. The best descriptor of his current form is simply a 'little monster'.
